Kamarajar Port Limited (KPL) has become India’s 2nd major port after Visakhapatnam recently.

- Larger, juicer, and sweeter compared to kinnow varieties in other regions.
- It features a glossy, golden-orange skin.
- Resilience – It can withstand 40°C during summer and 0°C during winter.
- Benefits –
- Packed with Vitamin C, calcium, and potassium.
- It contains 0.2% to 0.3% pectin, offers anti-cancer properties.

- The Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation (DoWR, RD & GR), Ministry of Jal Shakti has launched the 7th National Water Awards.

- Introduced in accomplishing the government’s vision ‘Jal Samridh Bharat’.
- It aims to sensitize the public about the importance of water and motivate them to adopt the best water usage practices.
- It is to encourage the stakeholders to adopt a holistic approach toward water resource management in the country as surface water and groundwater play a significant role in the water cycle.
