• Designed for – Operating speeds of 80–100 kmph.

• Aligned with – PM GatiShakti National Master Plan.

• Objectives –

  • To establish high-speed transport between Kanpur and Kabrai.

  • To strengthen onward links to Sagar, Bhopal, and Madhya Pradesh.

  • To develop a modern, access-controlled route connecting the industrial and commercial hubs of Uttar Pradesh.

• Significance – It underscores long-term economic, logistics and transport significance.

Wheat

Wheat procurement rose 17% to over 35 million tonne (MT) in the 2026-27 rabi marketing season, surpassing target of 34.5 MT.

• Wheat is a primary global cereal grain and a staple food.

• Type – Rabi crop in India.

  • 16°C to 21°C during growth, 25°C for ripening.

India achieves major milestone with approval of  PinS instrument approach procedure for helicopter operations.

• It is an India’s 1^st Private Point-in-Space (PinS) Instrument Approach for helicopters at Undavalli Heliport.

• Approved by – Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

• Aligned with – International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Standards and recommended practices.

• Technology – Satellite-based navigation enables safe, precise approaches without conventional landing aids.

  • To enhances flight safety, efficiency, and all-weather access.
