- Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court in 2018 and elevated to the Supreme Court of India in 2019.

WaveX Collaborates with T-Hub
WaveX, the startup accelerator initiative signed a MoU with T-Hub.
- Aim – To boost India’s creative, content, and media-technology startup ecosystem.
- Objectives – To benefit indian startups, by providing structured incubation, mentorship, and access to infrastructure and networks.
- Supported by T-Hub as the Anchor Institution, WaveX will establish up to 10 incubation centres across India.
- These centres will serve as hubs of innovation for startups and creators in the AVGC XR ecosystem (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics and Extended Reality).

- It is the world’s largest startup hub supporting more than 2,000 startups through curated programs, market access, funding opportunities, and world-class infrastructure.
- It also serves as a prominent incubator of incubators, supporting programs like iDEX (Innovations for Defence Excellence) along with hosting and nurturing entities such as AIC (Atal Incubation Centre) and MATH (Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Technology Hub).

Sekhon IAF Marathon 2025 (SIM-25)
- Held in – Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi (main event), simultaneously conducted at 60 Air Force stations across the country.
- Organized under – Air Force Sports Control Board, with support from local Air Force stations and community partners.
- Symbolizes – The ethos of the Indian Air Force - courage, discipline, and unity.
- Tribute to – Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, the IAF officer who fought against all odds in 1971 Indo-Pak war and was awarded the Param Vir Chakra, the nation's highest gallantry award.
- Theme – "Run with Pride, Soar with Spirit".
- Aim – To inspire citizens to adopt a culture of fitness and resilience.

10 New Aeromedical Evaluation Centres
- Approved by – Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA)
- Objectives – To boost the overall capacity for conducting DGCA Class 1, 2, and 3 medical examinations.
- To ensure early and timely access to the medical examination facilities for the pilots in India.
- Features – Advance medical facilities, infrastructure and availability of dedicated specialists pool required for Aeromedical Evaluation of DGCA Licence holders.

World Stroke Day 2025
- Observed on – 29th October.
- Started by – World Stroke Organisation.
- Aim – To drive public awareness of stroke symptoms and the need to #ActFAST.

Stroke
- It often referred as a “brain attack,”.
- Caused by – A sudden interruption in the brain’s blood supply.
- Occurrence – when the flow of oxygen-rich blood to part of the brain is blocked (ischemic stroke) or when a blood vessel ruptures, causing internal bleeding (hemorrhagic stroke).
- Transient ischemic attack (TIA) – It also known as a “mini-stroke,” results from a temporary blockage lasting a few minutes.
- In Ayurveda, stroke is understood as a neurological disorder resulting from an imbalance of Vata dosha, leading to weakness or paralysis, typically on one side of the body.
- Ayurvedic management focuses on restoring balance through preventive, detoxifying, and restorative therapies aimed at improving circulation, nerve function, and overall vitality.
