Top Countries by Income Group in NRI 2025

  • High-Income – United States (1), Finland (2), Singapore (3).
  • Upper-Middle Income – China (24), Malaysia (38), Thailand (44).
  • Lower-Middle Income – Vietnam (40), India (45), Philippines (66).
  • Low Income – Rwanda (87), Uganda (112), Malawi (116).
  • Findings for India – Ranked 2nd among lower-middle-income countries.
  • India has greater network readiness than expected for its income level.
