Insurance Surety Bonds
Insurance Surety Bonds (ISB) issued by the insurance companies for NHAI contracts has crossed Rs. 10,000 crore landmark.
- ISB – These are instruments where insurance companies act as ‘Surety’ and provide the financial guarantee that the contractor will fulfil its obligation as per the agreed terms.
- Surety Bonds act as a viable alternative to Bank Guarantees.

Electronic Bank Guarantee (e-BG)
- e-BG – It is a digitally issued, signed, and managed bank guarantee to a lender.
- It eliminates the physical documentation usually associated with issuance of BG.
- BG issuance process – NeSL portal through an API-based digital workflow with e-stamping and e-signatures.

- It is an Asia's pre-eminent seafood trade fair.
- Conducted by – Seafood Exporters Association of India (SEAI).
- Aim – To focus on India’s growing seafood export potential and global market linkages.

- SEAI – It is a non-government, not-for-profit organisation and is the voice of India’s seafood export sector.
- Established in – 1973.
- Headquarter at – Kochi.
- Represented in – Governing council of Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA).
- Aim – To position Indian seafood as the preferred choice for global buyers, renowned for its exceptional quality, sustainability, and traceability.

4th Coast Guard Global Summit (CGGS)
A 2 member Indian Coast Guard (ICG) delegation, is participating in the 4th Coast Guard Global Summit (CGGS).
- Held in – Rome, Italy under the co-chairmanship of Italy and Japan.
- Delegates from – 115 countries and international organisations.
- Aim – To strengthen multilateral cooperation, promote capacity building, and develop collective approaches to safeguarding the global ocean environment.
- 1st CGGS convened in – 2017, by Japan Coast Guard & Nippon Foundation.
- 5th CGGS to be hosted in – India in 2027.
