Autonomous District Councils :

• The Sixth Schedule of the Indian Constitution provides for the establishment of Autonomous District Councils (ADCs), which are self-governing bodies for the administration of tribal areas in India.
• There are 10 autonomous district councils in 4 states. These are:
• Assam – Bodoland Territorial Council, Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous District Council.
• Meghalaya – Garo Hills Autonomous District Council, Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council and Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council.
• Tripura – Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council.
• Mizoram – Chakma Autonomous District Council, Lai Autonomous District Council, Mara Autonomous District Council.
• The Autonomous District Council – Have real power to make laws, possibility on the various legislative subjects, receiving grants-in-aid from the Consolidated Fund of India.

Fisheries and Aquaculture Infrastructure Development Fund :

• The Fisheries and Aquaculture Infrastructure Development Fund (FIDF) is a financial scheme set up by the Department of Fisheries (DOF), Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Government of India in 2018-19.  (Statement 1 is correct).
• The FIDF encourages private entrepreneurs and fish farmers in the creation of fisheries infrastructure facilities in India.
• It helps in the creation of fisheries infrastructure facilities both in marine and inland fisheries sectors. (Statement 2 is correct).
• Nodal Loaning Entities
• NABARD – National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development Bank – State/UT government projects

Pradhan Mantri National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme:

• The scheme aims to promote apprenticeship training in the country, by providing partial stipend support to the apprentices engaged under the Apprentice Act, 1961.
• It is launched in 2016 under the umbrella scheme Skill India Programme (SIP). (Statement 1 is correct)
• The nodal ministry for PM-NAPS is the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, not the Ministry of Labour and Employment. (Statement 2 is not correct).

Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund (AHIDF):

• AHIDF was established to incentivize investments in the dairy, meat processing, and animal feed sectors in India.
•  It aims to modernize and strengthen dairy plants, increase milk and meat processing capacity, and provide greater access to organized markets for rural producers.
• AHIDF was launched as a Central Sector Scheme to support investments in animal husbandry infrastructure.  (Statement 1 is correct).

TROPEX-25:

• Theatre Level Operational Readiness Exercise, 2025 (TROPEX 25) is being conducted over a duration of three months from Jan - Mar 25.
• This exercise is conducted biennially with participation by all operational Indian Naval units along with substantial participation of Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Coast Guard assets. (Statement 1 is correct).
• The exercise is designed to assess and improve India's maritime security capabilities against conventional, asymmetric, and hybrid threats.
