A freedom fighter, revolutionary, writer, lawyer, social reformer.
- History – Born 28 May 1883, Nashik
- Organisations – Founded Mitra Mela (1899); Abhinav Bharat Society (1904); established Free India Society (London, 1906).
- Writings –Hindutva: Who is a Hindu? (1923) and The History of the First War of Indian Independence wrote under pen‑name Mahratta.
- Social Reform – Advocated civil liberties, caste abolition, inter‑caste marriages, Dalit temple entry (Patit‑Pavan Mandir) and reconversion to Hinduism.
- Legacy –Port Blair Airport renamed Veer Savarkar International Airport (2002).

Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team (Indian Air Force)
- Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team (SKAT) is an elite 9 aircraft demonstration squadron of the Indian Air Force (IAF) celeberated as Ambassadors of the Sky.
- Origin – Formed in 1996 with HAL HJT‑16 Kiran Mk.II trainers.
- First display – 8 October 1996 (IAF Day, Palam).
- Aircraft – Currently flies 9 BAe Hawk Mk132 (subsonic) jets from Bidar Air Base.
- Motto – Sadaiva Sarvottama (Always the Best)
- History – Successor to the Thunderbolts (1982, Hawker Hunter F.56A).
- Significance – Only 9 aircraft display team in Asia, Aircraft color – Red and White

- Significance – Aims to sensitise on the adverse impacts of substance abuse, mobilise youth as ambassadors of a drug‑free India, aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.

It is a policy mechanism proposed by CropLife India to protect the proprietary data they generate when introducing new chemical molecules or new uses for existing ones.

- Suggested by – CropLife India (industry body of pesticide manufacturers).
- Objective – Provide a time‑bound (5 years) exclusivity for safety, efficacy, residue, and environmental data of new molecules/uses.
- Significance – Incentivizes innovation, ensures faster farmer access to safer crop protection technologies, and aligns with global residue norms.

International Classification of Health Interventions (ICHI)
It is a common WHO tool for clinical recording, reporting and analysing health interventions for clinical and statistical purposes.
- Coverage – Includes interventions across the full scope of health systems – Diagnostic, medical, surgical, mental health, primary care, allied health, rehabilitation, functioning support, traditional medicine and public health.

- Open licensing framework – ICHI is freely available under WHO licensing, permitted for use across all WHO Member States, including lawful training of AI systems for intervention coding.
- India Linkage – Ministry of Ayush and WHO‑ICHI are collaborating to develop a standardized, scientifically robust coding vocabulary for clinical interventions in Ayurveda, Siddha, and Unani (ASU) and establish National Health Intervention Codes (NHIC).
