DICV recently joins scheme to provide discounts for the replacement of old trucks and buses in Delhi-NCR.

DICV – Daimler India Commercial Vehicles.

It provides an 8 % discount on the ex-showroom price on trucks and buses purchased under the scheme.

For electric vehicles, par with discount applicable to an Internal Combustion Engine vehicle of the equivalent category.

Additional benefits – In addition to 8%

State Governments provide up to 100% concession on motor vehicle tax for a period of 10 years and waiver of registration fees.

Significance – Signed companies have a combined market share of 85% marks successful implementation of the scheme.
