- Theme – “Many Languages, One Emotion”.
- Objectives –
- To highlight the depth, vibrancy, and cultural significance of various tribal languages.
- To commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahakavi Subramania Bharati.

National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS)
- It is a Central Sector Scheme.
- Scholarship – Rs.7,12,000 per annum.
- Eligibility –
- Institutes – Government, Government-aided and local body schools.
- Parental income – Does not exceed Rs.3,50,000 per annum.
- Selection test – Students must have secured at least 55 % percent marks in Class VII, with a relaxation of 5 percent for SC and ST students.
- Objectives –
- To provide 1 lakh fresh scholarships every year to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections.
- To reduce dropout rates after Class VIII and encourage students to complete their schooling up to Class XII.

Minimum Support Price for Copra
Cabinet approves Minimum Support Price for Copra for 2026 season.
- Central Nodal Agencies (CNAs) – National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd. (NAFED) and National Cooperative Consumers’ Federation (NCCF) for procurement of copra under Price Support Scheme (PSS).
- Growth rate for – The milling copra and ball copra for the marketing season 2014 to 2026, registering a growth of 129 percent and 127 percent, respectively.
- Significance –
- To ensure better remunerative returns to the coconut growers.
- To incentivize farmers to expand copra production to meet the growing demand for coconut products both domestically and internationally.
- Note – MSP of all the mandated crops will be fixed at levels of at least 1.5 times of all India weighted average cost of production.

Promotion of Organic Farming in Southern States
- Promoted through – Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana (PKVY).
- Southern states – Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Telangana since 2015-16.
- Assistance of – Rs. 31,500 per ha is provided over 3 years for promotion of organic farming.
- Out of this, Rs. 15,000 per ha is provided to farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer for on- farm /off –farm organic inputs.
- This financial assistance includes support for marketing of organic produces.

India’s Resolution on Wildfire
- Resolution on – ‘Strengthening the Global Management of Wildfires’.
- Adopted at – 7th Session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-7) in Nairobi, Kenya.
- Objectives –
- To strengthen international cooperation and coordinated action for wildfire management.
- To reinforce ongoing global activities under the Global Fire Management Hub.
- Key provision –
- Strengthened International Cooperation.
- Enhanced Regional and Global Collaboration.
- Knowledge Sharing and Capacity Building.
- Support for National and Regional Action Plans.
- Facilitating Access to International Finance.

Global Fire Management Hub
- Established in – 2023, by FAO and UNEP in 8th International Wildland Fire Conference.
- Aim – To reduce the negative impacts of wildfires on livelihoods, landscapes and global climate stability.

National Energy Conservation Day 2025
- Observed annually on – 14th December.
- Felicitate – The winners of the National Energy Conservation Awards (NECA) 2025 and National Painting Competition on Energy Conservation 2025.
- Objectives –
- To raise awareness about the importance of energy conservation.
- To highlight the nation's achievements in energy efficiency.

National Energy Conservation Awards 2025
- Conducted by – Bureau of Energy Efficiency, under the guidance of the Ministry of Power.
- Comprises of – 28 subsectors under 7 broad categories.
- New category for – Social Media Influencers and Digital Content Creators has been introduced to recognize the growing role of Influencers in opinion building and spreading awareness on energy conservation.
- Aim – To recognizes and encourages the efforts of industrial units, institutions, and establishments in reducing energy consumption.

National Painting Competition on Energy Conservation 2025
In 2025, more than 80 lakh students from 1,10,000 different schools across the country participated in the competition.
- Conducted by – Bureau of Energy Efficiency, under the guidance of the Ministry of Power since 2005.
- 3 stages – School, State/UT, and National Levels.
- 2 categories in school level –
- Group ‘A’ – 5th, 6th, and 7th standards.
- Group ‘B’ – 8th, 9th, and 10th standards.
- Aim – To inculcate positive change in the minds of young children towards energy conservation behaviour.

Census of India 2027 Portal
- Dedicated portal – Census Management & Monitoring System (CMMS) portal.
- Aim – To manage and monitor the entire Census process on a real time basis.
- Note – Census 2027 will be 16th Census in the country and 8th after independence.
