About Kishkindha hills
This hill is located on the northern bank of the Tungabhadra River.
The surrounding plateau is estimated to be roughly 3,000 million years old, making it one of the oldest surface features on Earth.
It sits just across from the historic site of Hampi in Karnataka.
It was late 1950s, after the construction of Tungabhadra dam the tiger corridor that existed between the eastern corridor to western corridor connecting Srisailam and Shivamogga was cut off.
