BHASHINI Rajyam Workshop on voice

• Organised by – Digital India BHASHINI Division (DIBD), MeitY, with Kerala State IT Mission.
• Theme – “Voice-First Digital Governance and the Linguistic Empowerment of Malayalam,”.
• MoU between – Government of Kerala and Digital India BHASHINI Division to develop AI-based Malayalam language technologies.
• Aim – To strengthen digital inclusivity by integrating Malayalam into India’s multilingual digital ecosystem.
• Launch of – Bhashini Samudaye initiative.

BHASHINI Samudaye

• It is a dynamic community uniting Translation Service Providers (TSPs), Language Experts, Higher Education Institutes, Data Annotators, Data Labelers, and more to enhance language services.
• Aim – To establish State Language Missions to lead digital language adoption, and a live demonstration of Bhashadaan,
• A citizen contribution platform that encourages individuals to donate Malayalam voice and text data to strengthen AI models.

Bhashadaan

• It is an initiative to crowdsource language inputs for multiple Indian languages.
• Part of – Project BHASHINI.
• Role – It calls upon citizens to help build an open repository of data to digitally enrich his/her own language.

Special Campaign for Disposal of Pending Matters

(SCDPM 5.0)

• Commenced by – Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW), Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions.
• Aim – To focus on reducing pending matters, embedding Swachhta principles, enhancing monitoring processes, and optimizing record-keeping systems.

6^th Thematic Workshop on “Water Conservation and Recharge”

• Organized by – National Water Mission (NWM), under the Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti.
• Coordinated by – NITI Aayog.
• Aim – To provide a national platform to translate policy into action, promote innovation, and showcase exemplary grassroots initiatives.
• Significance – It reaffirmed India’s commitment to vision of Sujalam Bharat.

Sujalam Bharat Summit

• Organised by – Ministry of Jal Shakti under the guidance of NITI Aayog.
• Aim – To chart a roadmap for Viksit Bharat@2047 with focus on water security, management and sustainability.
• 6 key themes  
  • Rejuvenating rivers and springs,
  • Greywater management and reuse,
  • Technology for efficient water management,
  • Water conservation and recharge,
  • Sustainability of drinking water,  
  • Community and institutional engagement for behaviour change.

Security

INS Abhay

INS Abhay was decommissioned at Naval Dockyard, Mumbai, after rendering more than three decades of service in the Indian Navy.

• Indian Naval Ship Abhay – An anti-submarine corvette of Soviet Pauk II class type.
• Commissioned at – Poti, Georgia in the erstwhile USSR on 10 Mar 1989.
• Participated in – Various operational deployments, conducted anti-submarine surveillance/ patrols and rendered yeoman service in undertaking coastal defence operations while optimally utilising her integral ASW sensor and weapon suite capabilities.

INFAC T-82

INFAC T-82 was decommissioned at Naval Dockyard, Mumbai, after rendering more than three decades of service in the Indian Navy.

• Indian Naval Fast Attack Craft (INFAC) T-82 – An Israeli Super Dvora MK II class.
• Commissioned in – 2003 at Naval Dockyard, Mumbai.
• Role – True to her motto of 'STEALTH AND STRIKE'.
• 1^st responder for search and rescue operations, carried out submarine escort duties, and was involved in several coastal interdiction missions.

• Organized by – Department of post
• Theme 2025 – Dak Seva: Jan Seva.
• Aim – To focus on philately, celebrating the rich heritage and cultural significance of the country through Postage stamps.
• Key Initiatives
  • Dhai Akhar National Level Letter Writing Competition.
  • Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana (Scholarship for Promotion of Aptitude and Research in Stamps as a Hobby).

• It is the art of collecting and studying postage stamps.
• King of Hobbies – Philately continues to captivate hobbyists, researchers, and enthusiasts across the globe.
• Cultural insights – It serves as a powerful educational tool, enabling enthusiasts to explore historical milestones, national heritage, and contemporary cultural icons.
