Centre for Processing Accelerated Corporate Exit (C-PACE)

  • Established in – 2023, by Ministry of Corporate Affairs(MCA).
  • Administrative supervision – Director General of Corporate Affairs.
  • Aim – To reduce the stress on the MCA registry along with availability of more meaningful data to the companies.
  • Benefit – To provide a hassle-free filing, timely and process-bound striking off their company’s names from MCA register.

Standard & Poor’s (S&P) Global Ratings

 India improved in long-term sovereign credit rating to ‘BBB’ from ‘BBB-’ and its short-term rating to ‘A-2’ from ‘A-3’, with a Stable Outlook.

  • S&P global rating – It is one of the major credit rating agencies.
  • Objective – To indicate their degree of investment risk in companies, countries and the debt instruments by assigning letter grades on a scale of AAA to D.
  • Analysis – To evaluate a wide range of industries, benchmarks, asset classes, and geographies.
  • To examine various financial, economic, and industry-specific factors.
  • To assess the likelihood of default or inability to pay debts in a timely manner.

National Gopal Ratna Awards 2025

  • It is a national honour in the livestock and dairy sector.
  • Launched under – Rashtriya Gokul Mission in 2021.
  • Presented on – National Milk Day, celebrated on November 26, annually.
  • Nodal ministry – Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying.
  • Objectives – To encourage excellence among milk-producing farmers & institutes.
  • To focus on promoting indigenous cattle and buffalo breeds.

  • Developed by – National Institute of Animal Biotechnology.
  • Aim – To protect animal health and safeguard farmer livelihoods.

    • BruDIVA – Rapid detection of Brucellosis, a field-deployable.
    • Udder Care – Mastitis detection technology.
    • CureCheck – Antimicrobial sensitivity testing device, a portable tool providing results within 2 hours to promote responsible antibiotic use.
    • Toxo Antibody Rapid Test – Toxoplasmosis detection kit for toxoplasma gondii infection in animals and humans.
    • RapiChex JE NS1 Test – Japanese Encephalitis detection kit.

Mastitis in Animals

  • It is breast inflammation that can lead to infection.
  • Causal agents – Often by bacterial infection (Staphylococcus aureus) can also be linked to fungi, Mycoplasma, or even viruses.
  • Symptoms – Red, swollen, painful breast and flu-like indications.

Toxoplasmosis

  • It is a zoonotic infection caused by Toxoplasma gondii, an obligate intracellular parasitic protozoan.
  • It can infect all warm-blooded vertebrates, including humans.
  • Symptoms – Fever, fatigue, headaches, and swollen lymph nodes.

Pangong Tso region

Recently, joint expedition team from 3 premier national mountaineering institutes successfully summit highest peaks in Pangong Tso region.

  • Location – Eastern Ladakh along the border with Tibet.
  • Highest peaks – Mt Merag-III (6,480m) & Mt kangju Kangri (6710m).
  • Altitude – It is situated at a height of 14,270ft above sea level.
  • Biodiversity – Bar-headed geese, Brahminy ducks, black necked cranes and seagulls are commonly spotted here.
  •  Saltwater lake – It has one of the highest brackish water lakes in the world.
  • It changes color appearing blue, grey-green, and red at varied points in time.

Sri Aurobindo

  • He was a yogi, philosopher, poet, and Indian nationalist.
  • Birth – 1872.
  • Founded – Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Puducherry.
  • Newspaper – Bande Mataram, 1st political leader to openly put forward the idea of complete independence in his newspaper.
  • Literary works – The Life Divine, The Synthesis of Yoga, Essays on the Gita, The Synthesis of Yoga, The Human Cycle, The Ideal of Human Unity, Savitri – A Legend and a Symbol, and On the Veda (1956).

FASTag Annual Pass

NHAI has implemented the ‘FASTag annual pass’ facility at 1,150 toll plazas on national highways and expressways.

  • Nodal ministry – Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.
  • Applicable for – All non-commercial vehicles.
  • Fee – Onetime payment of Rs. 3,000.
  • Validity – 1 year or 200 toll plaza crossings.

Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY)

  • It is an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Ayush.
  • Established in – 1998 by upgrading the erstwhile Central Research Institute for Yoga (CRIY), 1976.
  • Registered under – Societies Registration Act, 1860.
  • Aim – To promote deeper understanding of yoga philosophy & practices based on ancient yoga traditions.
