Devil worship
Nagaland Assembly will hold a special session to discuss the impact of “Devil worship” on the youth in the Christian-majority State.

Satan (Devil) – A figure from Christian belief who is also commonly known as Lucifer.

Multi Lane Free Flow Tolling System (MLFF)
NHAI Signs Agreement to Implement India’s 1st MLFF Tolling System in Gujarat.

MLFF Tolling System – It is a barrier-less tolling system that enables transactions through reading of FASTag and Vehicle Registration Number by High performance RFID Readers and ANPR Cameras.

Implemented by – National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

Aim – To enable seamless toll collection without stopping vehicles at fee plazas.

Significance – Reducing congestion & travel time leading to enhanced fuel efficiency and lowering emissions.

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)

RFID – It is a form of wireless communication that incorporates the use of electromagnetic or electrostatic coupling in the radio frequency portion of the electromagnetic spectrum to uniquely identify an object, animal or person.

3 components – Scanning antenna, transceiver and a transponder.

Uses - Inventory control, equipment tracking, out-of-bed detection and fall detection, personnel tracking, ensuring that patients receive the correct medications and medical devices.

Automatic number-plate recognition (ANPR)

ANPR – It is a technology that uses optical character recognition on images to read vehicle registration plates.
