Very informative overview of the Draft Income-tax Rules, 2026 and the proposed changes to simplify compliance. The comparison of the new rules with the previous framework was especially useful. For readers interested in exploring how similar income tax systems are implemented in other countries, I also came across a detailed Income Tax Guide 2026–27 that provides practical explanations and examples. It offers an interesting perspective on tax administration and compliance.
