55 Volumes of Literary Works
Recently, the Union Education Minister released 55 volumes of literary works in classical Indian languages.
- Composed in – Kannada, Odia, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil.
- Key Inclusion – Sign-language series of the Tirukkural (by Thiruvalluvar).
- Published by – Centres of Excellence for Classical Languages (CIIL), Central Institute of Classical Tamil.
- Objective – To position India’s linguistic heritage at the centre of education, research, and cultural pride.
- Significance -
- It creates an inclusive India by recognizing all Indian languages as national languages.
- It strengthens these languages through translation initiatives and the promotion of education in the mother tongue.
- NEP 2020 advances the vision of education in Indian languages.
- Rejection – In contrast, this approach rejects the "Macaulay mindset" associated with the colonial era.

W Ursae Majoris (W UMa)
A study of W Ursae Majoris–type contact binaries, which are closely orbiting stellar twins, provides new insights into binary star evolution and their eventual fate.
- W Ursae Majoris (W UMa) stars are short-period, dumbbell-shaped binaries in which the two stars are in contact.
- The stars are so close that they share a single outer atmosphere while orbiting each other.
- These stars serve as "natural laboratories" by enabling precise measurement of fundamental parameters such as mass, radius, and temperature, which are essential for testing theories of stellar evolution.

- It is a dedicated digital platform designed to connect PGIP alumni with current students.
- Launched by – Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI).
- Aim – To enable continuous interaction, knowledge sharing, problem-solving, and enhanced industry exposure for students through alumni engagement.

Post Graduate Insolvency Programme (PGIP)
- This program is the first of its kind, designed for individuals aspiring to pursue a career as an insolvency professional or to assume other roles within the value chain, both in India and internationally.
- Graduates of the PGIP will be eligible for registration as insolvency professionals under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016, without the current requirement of 10 years of prior experience.

Live Events Development Cell (LEDC)
- The LEDC acts as a single-window facilitator for the sector, bringing together representatives from Central and State governments, industry associations, music rights societies, and major event companies.
- Established by – Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
- Aim – To facilitate the expansion of the “concert economy”, boosting employment and tourism in the country.
- Growth rate – In 2024, the organised live events market was valued at Rs.20,861 crore, reflecting a 15% growth rate that surpasses several traditional media segments.
- Significance – With an expected CAGR of 18%, the sector is positioned to establish India as a leading global live entertainment destination by 2030.

Goldilocks Phase
- A Goldilocks economy refers to an optimal economic state characterized by balanced growth, low inflation, and full employment, while avoiding both overheating and recession.
- With stable interest rates and modest inflation, a Goldilocks economy creates favourable conditions for investment, particularly in equities, as companies tend to experience sustained growth.
- It is typically short-lived because of the inevitability of business cycles.
- Sustaining such conditions demands prudent monetary and fiscal policy management.

- It is the industry interface organisation of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.
- Established in – 1992.
- Key role in – Incubation, industry collaboration, research translation, intellectual property management, and startup ecosystem development within and beyond the IIT Delhi ecosystem.
- Aim – To create an effective interface with industry to foster and sustain the commercialization of science and technology in the Institute for mutual benefit.

Solar Power Expansion
India’s solar module manufacturing capacity has more than doubled compared to last year.
- Year-over-year growth – Solar module manufacturing rose by 128.6%, reaching 144 gigawatts (GW) in 2025, up from 63 GW in 2024.
- Addition of – 81 GW of capacity over the past year.
- Since 2014, capacity has grown more than 62-fold, rising from 2.3 GW.
